About us

African Charity Volunteers is an Accra-based non-profit organization. It has no religious and political affiliation. Organization is registered by general’s office of The Republic of Ghana – NO. G-35, 002 the company’s code, 1963 (Act 179). It was established in 2009 as a branch of international organization with other offices in sever African countries. ACV is led by Madame Elizabeth Arthur.

The organization coordinates both local and international volunteer work camps with community groups and institutions in need of voluntary labor and coordinates projects to enhance and empower community self-initiatives.  It aims to provide enriching volunteer experiences that benefit the underprivileged populations in the town of Kasoa, Accra.

The work of ACV is to improve the welfare of the less-privileged and vulnerable ones, orphanages, local and regional churches in our society. This includes raising the living standards and promote local sustainable development and education, help rural churches in capacity building, offer consultancy for women and children.  In addition, organization arranged volunteering opportunity for those willing to care for orphans and neglected children in community.

 


Our mission

The mission of African Charity Volunteers is to raise the living standards of the poor, vulnerable children and orphans, churches, youth, schools, medical houses and hospitals in addressing issues affecting local communities.
